What happens when you become lost, fatigued, or injured in the backcountry? Treating and transporting sick, injured, and lost victims in the backcountry can be challenging. Interacting with (SAR) agencies, fire services and park rangers play a crucial role in ensuring safety in these settings. This session will define and prioritize backcountry rescues while describing the skills and training that lead to proficiency.
