This presentation will cover the development of a comprehensive plan to save lives in the event that a HEMS pilot becomes incapacitated. Topics covered will be system evaluation, planning, development, as well as continuing education. This will include personal lessons learned from the procedure development, as well as information sharing of the procedure itself. The goal is enhancing outcomes as well as living up to the idea that safety is not proprietary.
