This lecture will review the current state of the art in the transport management of ischemic stroke. From the undifferentiated patient with strokelike symptoms to the diagnosed LVO stroke being transported for thrombectomy, this session will discuss management strategies to optimize outcome. This will be an evidence based discussion of the best possible management of the stroke patient in the out of hospital environment, including blood pressure management, positioning, oxygenation and critical evaluations.
