Join this lecture to learn the why and how around adding hypertonic saline as an intervention for known or suspected elevated ICP in traumatically brain injured patients. This session will describe the mechanism around the use of osmotic agents in TBI, discuss current standards and why this intervention would be beneficial as well as discuss the research used to design this protocol.
