Mandy Gainey has been a flight nurse with Med-Trans since 2017 and currently serves as a Professional Development Manager. In her role as a nurse for the past 15 years, she has served communities in both South Carolina and Alabama, in healthcare settings ranging from large regional specialty centers to small community hospitals. Mandy is passionate about fostering an inviting environment for education and enjoys seeing clinicans grasp a new concept or skill that will impact their patient care. When she is not traveling, Mandy is rocking out to some awesome 80s music on her paddle board in Charleston, South Carolina where she resides with her husband, her dog Maggie, and Walter, her very fat cat.
