Kelly Edwards has twenty-five plus years of service in public safety and emergency care, including medical response at multiple national, regional, and international disasters. He has been employed as a flight clinician in both rotor-wing and fixed-wing programs, including time spent as an educator. He served on the board of directors of the International College of Advanced Practice Paramedics, including a term as president. He is currently employed at the Clinical Operations Manager at Haiti Air Ambulance providing patient care during transport, clinical oversight, develops education and protocols, and works with the executive leadership on long-term strategic goals for the agency. He also works PRN as a emergency department nurse practicioner in a rural critical access hospital as well as freelance data analyst consultant.
