Dr. Long has been in EMS since volunteering as a teenager and has never lost the "EMS bug". She now serves as medical director for several prehospital agencies, a hospital-based interfacility transport agency, and an air-medical service, while working clinically primarily at a rural freestanding ER. If free time exists, she enjoys torturing herself with triathlon and other endurance athletic events.
