Dr. James Huffman is a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Calgary and serves as transport physician as well as the Associate Medical Director of Education for STARS Air Ambulance. With a focus on medical education and simulation, particularly in the setting of prehospital and retrieval medicine, James uses his passion for learning and understanding how we think as fuel to explore innovative teaching methods. He shares his experiences through talks and workshops across North America and Europe, aiming to optimize learning strategies for healthcare professionals to help improve health outcomes for critically ill and injured patients.
