Cory Oaks started in the fire and emergency medical services thirty five years ago and since that time has served in almost every capacity from volunteer firefighter/ first responder to Emergency Medical Technician, to Career Fire Paramedic where he retired from Provo Fire and Rescue to flight paramedic. His flight career includes eleven years with Intermountain LifeFlight, four with Classic Air Medical as Simulations and Outreach Coordinator to his current position as Program Director of Haiti Air Ambulance, the only air medical program serving the citizens of Haiti. He also serves as the EMS Coordinator for Box Elder County Fire and is the current President of the International College of Advanced Practice Paramedics and sit on the Board of the Tim Hynes Foundation. In the little time he is not working, he spends time with his wife and family and numerous animals that inhabit their house.
