Dr. Hannah Baumgartner is an engineering research psychologist for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). She leads the Fatigue and Human Performance lab in the Aerospace Human Factors Division at the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI). Dr. Baumgartner has a broad range of research interests including fatigue across aviation operations, evaluating decision making in agricultural aviation operations, and human factors risks and mitigations within helicopter air ambulance operations. Dr. Baumgartner received her doctorate in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and her research incorporates her background in psychology, neuroscience, and human factors.
