Mike serves as Chief Operating Officer for MedFlight of Ohio and MedCare Ambulance. As COO, he oversees all aspects of ground and helicopter operations for both organizations.

Mike has nearly 30 years of leadership experience. He started as a junior firefighter and EMT where he learned the value of volunteering, public service, and giving back to the community. That experience progressed into the 911 arena where he worked as a line paramedic for a progressive EMS service. He also served as the EMS Director for that same organization for nearly 8 years. That journey ultimately opened the door to the critical care field where he functioned as a flight paramedic and worked in multiple leadership roles before ultimately transitioning into the COO position.

Mike is an authentic leader who is driven, passionate, and always willing to tackle tough issues. He enjoys solving complex operational problems by collaborating with others in the ever-changing world of medical transportation.

Mike serves as an AAMS Board of Director and Regent for the Medical Transport Leadership Insititute.
