As a helicopter pilot at Intermountain Health, Brett provides safe and efficient air ambulance services to patients in need of critical care. He has over nine years of experience in the helicopter air ambulance industry, and holds commercial, instrument, and flight instructor ratings for various helicopter models, including the A109SP, EC 135P2+, EC135P3, AS350 B3e, AS350 B2, EC130 B4, Bell 429, Bell 407, Bell 206 L4, and MD500E. He also has proficiency in single-pilot instrument flight rules (SPIFR) emergency medical services (EMS), night vision goggles (NVG), and Garmin & Genesys avionics.
In addition to his role as a helicopter pilot, Brett is also the president of the National EMS Pilots Association (NEMSPA), a volunteer board member promoting safety in the helicopter air ambulance industry. He is passionate about advancing the standards and best practices of the profession, and collaborates with other stakeholders to advocate for the interests and well-being of Air medical pilots.
Brett also manages and owns a fourth-generation family ranch, where he applies business management and French skills to operate and preserve a historic and sustainable business.
