Dr. Ziegler is the Medical Director for Aero Med based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and North Flight Aero Med (NFAM), based out of Traverse City, Michigan which provides air ambulance services. Additionally, he is the Medical Director of the Mission Control at Corewell Health West which is the patient flow center for the health system.
Dr. Ziegler is a graduate of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He obtained his medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit. After medical school, he completed a Transitional year at Sinai Grace hospital in Detroit, and then served 3 years on active duty as a flight surgeon the United States Air Force. His residency was at Michigan State University Affiliated Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Ziegler is board certified and re-certified by the American Board Emergency Medicine, and subspecialty board certified in Emergency Medical Services. He resides in Belmont, Michigan with his wife, and enjoys life with his daughter and two sons.
